Installation

System Requirements​

WordPress6.0 or higher
PHP8.0 or higher
MySQL5.7+ (or MariaDB 10.3+)
  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin
  2. Search for Form Plant
  3. Click Install Now on the Form Plant plugin
  4. Click Activate when installation completes
  5. Form Plant will appear in the left sidebar menu

Install from a ZIP file​

  1. Download the ZIP from the Form Plant page on WordPress.org
  2. Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin
  3. Select the ZIP and click Install Now
  4. Click Activate

Manual install via FTP​

  1. Unzip the archive to get the form-plant folder
  2. Upload form-plant to wp-content/plugins/ via FTP / SSH
  3. Activate Form Plant from the Plugins list in WordPress admin

After Activation​

Once activated, a Form Plant menu appears in the left admin sidebar. Click it to open the form list screen.

Updating​

Form Plant updates appear in the standard Plugins screen in WordPress admin. If automatic updates are enabled, they will be applied without manual action.

Existing [fplant id="..."] shortcodes and saved form settings are preserved across updates.
